From our manufacturing facility site based at Campbeltown, Argyll on the west coast of Scotland, we provide “ready to install” tower solutions for the onshore and offshore wind energy market. We employ 100 people from Campbeltown and the Kintyre area all of whom are dedicated to providing a high quality service to our valued clients.

Reporting to the WT Team Function Leader, your role will be to work within the Abrasive Blast and Metallization processes. We have one temporary vacancy for a Production Operative. Please note this role is temporary for a period of approx. 6-8 weeks and based on our site at Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland.

Process Information:

Abrasive Blast: 

The abrasive blast process prepares the surface using a jet stream of compressed air to clean the steel and introduces a suitable profile to receive the protective metallization coating to ensure 100% efficiency in the removal of mill scale and rust.


The metallization process uses a thermal spray to apply zinc and aluminum to provide corrosion protection to steel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring adherence to H&S rules and regulations
  • Ensuring cleanliness and good housekeeping is maintained
  • Daily Maintenance of Abrasive Blast and Metallisation machinery

No direct experience is required as full training will be provided to candidates who show a willingness to learn and demonstrate a passion for safety.

You will work a rotational shift pattern, so flexibility is essential.
